Join NYPD Officers and FDNY Firefighters, Police and Sheriffs at this exciting event proudly supporting those killed or seriously injured in the line of duty. The Top Firefighter and Top Cop each receive a trip to Las Vegas and an entry into the Guns 'n Hoses National Championships where they will compete against the winners of the other events across the US to determine the National Champion. The National Champion receives a beautiful Champions Bracelet and a $10,000 seat at the World Series of Poker Main Event.
The tournament is open to Law Enforcement, Firefighters and First Responders, civilian employees of Law Enforcement and Fire Departments along with Friends and Family of sworn officers/firefighters and civilian employees. It is also open to Sponsors and area businesses who support Firefighters and Law Enforcement. You do not have to be an officer or fire fighter to participate.
Players start with 2000 chips with 100/200 starting blinds and twenty minute levels. Players can make optional additional re-buy and add-on donations to support the troops including upgrading to a VIP ticket and receiving 4000 starting chips. Re-buys are unlimited and players will receive 2000 chips for each $100 donation.
