The winning team receives a Custom Guns 'n Hoses Guitar to proudly display at the firehouse, station, precinct or office and the individual winner receives a $5000 Guns 'N Hoses National Championships Package that includes a cabin for two on the season ending Guns 'n Hoses National Championship Poker Cruise and one entry into the Guns 'n Hoses National Championships - port fees & taxes Included). Winners from each city compete for $100,000 in cash & prizes including a custom Guns 'n Hoses Harley-Davidson and the Championship Bracelet. The Guns 'n Hoses National Championships cruise is a 5 night poker cruise out of Miami, Florida to Nassau in the Bahamas and Cozumel, Mexico.
Players start with 2000 chips (Bonus Chips are available for those making additional optional donations in support of Fallen Firefighters and Law Enforcement Officers) with 100/200 starting blinds and twenty minute levels. Optional Re-Buys are available at any time during the first three levels when players are at or below their starting chip stack. Optional Add-on Bonus Chips are available at the end of the first three levels and again at the start of the Championship Round (if applicable)
Play may include multiple "Round 1's" in a shoot-out format in the event that demand exceeds seating capacity. Players making the "Championship Round" of a local qualifying event will compete against the other qualifiers to determine the final table and eventual champion. Donations and Sponsorships are made for the sole purpose of supporting the nonprofit organizations that benefit from this fundraising event, and are not in any way payment or consideration given solely in exchange for the opportunity to participate in the poker tournament. This is a non-gambling event. Only ticketed persons will be allowed admittance to the event. Chips used in the tournament have no cash value and cannot be cashed-in at any time whatsoever. The event does not have or require a buy-in. Alternative means of tournament entry is available on a space available basis.
You are not required to make a donation to participate in the tournament. Alternative means of tournament entry. OFFLINE, NO-PURCHASE-NECESSARY, METHOD OF ENTRY: As an alternate means of entry into a Guns ‘n Hoses tournament, you must send a 3 inch x 5 inch card on which you have legibly handwritten your First and Last Name, Complete Mailing Address (e.g. Street, City, State, ZIP code), Email Address, and Date of Birth (each, a “Mail-In Registration”). Each Mail-In Registration must be placed in a single separate envelope, and mailed to Aces & Angels GNH Alternate Entry, 2100 West Loop South, Suite 900, Houston, TX 77027. Multiple Mail-In Registrations in a single envelope are not acceptable. If multiple Mail-In Registrations are sent in a single envelope only one Mail-In Registration chosen in our sole discretion, will be processed. Kentucky residents may request postage reimbursement by writing "Please reimburse postage" on the 3 inch x 5 inch card. Reimbursement will be in the form of one first-class U.S. Postal Service postage stamp. No metered mail will be accepted. No photocopies, reproductions or facsimiles of the 3 inch x 5 inch card are allowed. The usage of a service to provide the production of the 3 inch x 5 inch card will not be allowed.
